    Social events, milongas and two intensive learning afternoons

    Intensive learning 1:
    Saturday 1.00 – 4.15 Creating time to create your dance
    In this course we develop a deeper understanding on how to create movement and to improve the improvisation. Learning this way of "creating time and space" students will find it easier to explore new moves and adornos, as well as different ways of interpreting the music.

    The course includes:

    Technique for walking and connection
    Change of dynamics and levels
    Music interpretation
    Technique for adornos
    Improvisation training
    Quality and smooth movements

    Intensive learning 2:
    Sunday 12.30 – 3.45 Milonga intensive seminar
    This intensive course explores all the aspects of Milonga, from the technique of movement to the history and concept of the dance. Learn how to understand and express milonga in your dance and how the connection in the embrace works in this rhythmical and fun dance.

    The course includes:

    Technique for walking and movements in milonga
    Concepts of milonga and rhythm
    Connection and improvisation
    Music interpretation for milonga
    Reaction to different dynamics
    Movements in crowded spaces

    There will be a break for tea and coffee each day.

    Cost: $50.00 each day
    Venue: Room 205 King Edward Court - Stuart St, Dunedin
    Sebastian will be available for a few private classes, $100 for a person or couple.

    Social events/milongas

    Friday 8.00-11.00pm: Welcome Milonga in Room 205 King Edward Court
    Saturday night: shared meal and mini-milonga at Mike and Ali's
    Sunday 4.00-6.00pm: Milonga at Zanzibar, 311 George Street
